Why AIS?

In an era marked by significant environmental threats, rapid technological advancements, and increasing global interconnectivity, the synergy among sustainability, digitalization, and globalization offers unprecedented opportunities for innovation and sustainable growth. AIS aims to:

  • Highlight the Synergy: Emphasize the transformative power of integrating sustainability and advanced technologies to create holistic solutions.

  • Encourage Diverse Perspectives: Collect a diverse array of perspectives and solutions, reflecting the rich tapestry of global thought and the innovative spirit of our times.

  • Advance Academic and Practical Developments: AIS is designed to propel both scholarly research and practical applications, influencing real-world outcomes and shaping policy. We accommodate different types of submissions through two specific tracks:

    1. Business Case Track: For papers focused on real-world business scenarios, practical implementations, and case studies, showcasing the application of sustainability and digitalization strategies in business contexts.

    2. Paper Track: For rigorous scholarly articles that contribute to academic discourse, including studies, theoretical analyses, and empirical research related to sustainability, digitalization, and globalization.

  • Facilitate High-Level Exchanges: Through our biannual conference at Harvard, AIS offers a prestigious platform for authors to present their research. This gathering not only promotes the exchange of ideas among leading researchers, policymakers, and business leaders but also elevates the discourse in sustainability, digitalization, and globalization.

We invite you to explore AIS, engage with diverse discussions, and contribute to advancing discourse on sustainability, digitalization, and globalization. Together, we can navigate the complexities and harness the opportunities of the 21st century to build a sustainable and equitable future.
