Terms and Conditions

Peer Review

All submissions to our journal undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure academic quality and fairness. Each paper is evaluated by at least two independent experts in a double-blind review, where reviewers assess the paper's originality, research methodology, data analysis, and validity of conclusions. The review process is transparent and impartial, with feedback provided to authors for necessary revisions and improvements. Through this strict peer review system, we strive to maintain and enhance the academic standards of our journal.

Academic Integrity

We place a high priority on academic integrity and strictly adhere to international publishing ethics standards. All submitted papers must be original works, and authors are required to declare that their research findings have not been published or submitted elsewhere. We utilize advanced plagiarism detection software to screen all submissions to prevent plagiarism and academic misconduct. Additionally, we require authors to provide detailed descriptions of their data and methodologies to ensure the transparency and reproducibility of their research. These measures help us foster an honest and transparent academic environment.

Dual Submissions

Submissions that are substantially similar to papers that the authors have previously published or submitted in parallel to other peer-reviewed venues with proceedings or journals may not be submitted to AIS. Papers previously presented at workshops are permitted, provided they did not appear in a conference proceeding, a journal, or a book.

Ownership and Patent of the Paper

By submitting to AIS, authors agree to transfer ownership of the copyright to AIS. This transfer includes the right to publish, distribute, modify, remix, adapt, and build upon the submitted work in both digital and print formats and for both non-commercial and commercial purposes. Authors retain the rights to any patents or intellectual property associated with the paper, but the publication and distribution rights are exclusively held by AIS.

Others may access and use the work for non-commercial purposes under the condition that proper credit is given to the original authors and AIS. For any commercial use or further distribution, approval must be obtained from the AIS editorial board.

Use of Large Language Models (LLMs)

We welcome authors to use any tool that is suitable for preparing high-quality papers and research. However, authors must adhere to the following criteria:

  • Methodology Description: Papers should fully describe their methodology, and any tool that is important to that methodology, including the use of LLMs, should be described. For instance, tools (including LLMs) used for data processing, visualization, facilitating or running experiments, and proving theorems should be mentioned. It is also advisable to describe the use of LLMs in implementing the method if this corresponds to an important, original, or non-standard component of the approach.

  • Content Responsibility: Authors are responsible for the entire content of the paper, including all text and figures. Authors must ensure that all text is correct and original, regardless of the tools used for writing the paper.

Publication Ethics

Our journal follows the highest standards of publication ethics to ensure transparency and fairness throughout the publishing process. The editorial board and reviewers adhere to ethical guidelines and do not participate in the review and decision-making process for submissions where there is a conflict of interest. We require all authors to disclose potential conflicts of interest and provide ethics approval documents when applicable. We are committed to addressing any instances of academic misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and improper authorship, with serious consequences. Through these practices, we aim to uphold the integrity and credibility of the academic community.
